 Mike moved in 1997 to Brentwood and began work at the then fledgling ministry that is Resurrection today. He had previously served for 7 years in a variety of positions at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayzata, MN and also for two years at Dixon CA in a church plant situation. There is nothing that excites Mike more than to see someone "get it" in their faith life, whether its for the very first time or if it is a "growing up" situation.
Mike is the husband of Kristi and teacher here in Brentwood and four "almost grown" children: two in college and two in high school. He enjoys reading, keeping up with his kids, the outdoors, interacting with people of all ages and an occasional "hack on the golf links" when he can get it.

David is the associate pastor in charge of children and youth ministries as well as a variety of other pastoral tasks at Resurrection. David received his bachelor’s degree in Christian education leadership and youth ministries (DCE studies) from Concordia University in Irvine, and received his master’s of divinity degree from Concordia Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis. He interned at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Warner Robbins, Ga. for a year.
David is married to Christa, whom he met at Concordia University. They have been married for three years. Christa received her master’s degree in social Work from Saint Louis University. Dave and Christa share a variety of physically active pursuits as well as a love of a good cup of coffee.
